  • AUTO INSURANCE ADVICE

    Do I need auto insurance?
If you drive, personal automobile insurance is mandatory in Minnesota and most states.

    What does it cover?
Your liability policy generally covers you and your car.

That’s why it’s so important to consider every car you may drive to establish enough coverage. Being underinsured can severely damage your financial situation.

     What are the policy differences?

    Liability:

Auto liability insurance is required by law and covers injury to others and property damage to things not owned by you.

    Physical Damage:

Referred to as collision or comprehensive, this covers damage to your own vehicle.

    Personal Injury (PIP):

Pays medical bills for injuries you sustain from a vehicle and/or wage loss up to certain limits.

    Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist:

Covers your losses when the person who hit you doesn’t have adequate insurance.

  • HOME INSURANCE ADVICE

    Why Homeowners Insurance?
Weather events, crime, and accidents of all kinds leave you financially exposed. A good policy is your best hedge against loss.

    Why Renter’s Insurance?
Things can go wrong in neighboring residences that affect your belongings. A good policy takes over where your landlord’s insurance stops.

    Types of coverage?

    Renters:

Covers possessions and important heirlooms. If you ask to have them covered.

    Umbrella:

Covers the physical house and contents, but also can pay out if someone makes a claim against the homeowner.

    Mobile Home:

Covers the physical house and contents, but also can pay out if someone makes a claim against the homeowner.

    Landlord:

Covers the house and liability but not the possession of tenants.

    Seasonal Home:

Covers the physical house and contents, but also can pay out if someone makes a claim against the homeowner.

    Umbrella:

An extra "layer" of insurance on top of your liability coverage.

  • LIFE INSURANCE ADVICE

    How are annual premiums determined?
Annual premiums are influenced by a number of factors about your life, such as gender, health, family history, hazardous hobbies, height and weight, and occupation. Let an Insurance Advisor guide you.

The difference between Term, Whole and Universal.

    Term:

A policy for a set amount of time.

    Universal:

A flexible policy that also builds cash value, but lets you shift between the policy’s insurance and savings components.

    Whole:

A policy that accumulates a cash value.

  • HEALTH INSURANCE ADVICE
